A Bowers 6MVA 69000/11000 bespoke Power Transformers installed at Hereford Solar Park
Bowers can supply power transformers up to 50MVA at 132kV, our in-house design team enables us to offer excellent lead times and competitive prices while having the flexibility to build our clients something truly bespoke.
Bowers’ power transformers are available in ONAN, ONAF or OFAF specifications, complete with standard and special fittings that include: on load tap changers; tap changer control panels; separate and integral cooling bank systems; forced fan cooling; oil circulation pump systems; temperature monitoring systems; HV and LV cable boxes or outdoor bushings; Conservator and Bucholz etc.
As well as our in-depth testing procedures, temperature rise, impulse and noise level testing can also be offered if required. And once we’re happy with the transformer and it’s been dispatched, our site teams can provide erection, assembly and commissioning of our units, ensuring a full turnkey solution and peace of mind.
