E.P.E.S. will liaise with the local DNO (Distribution Network Operator) to arrange for new or additonal high voltage metered feeders to be installed and offer to the client a combined package of complete installation allowing for the new HV metered feeder or LV metered feeder to be installed in an appropriate substation or compound and then connect the associated HV cabling, HV switchgear, transformer(s) and LV switchgear to complete the installation to the relevent DNO requirements.
Our services include liaison with the relevant DNO or other approved LIoyds accredited companies and provide the new substation building which can be a brick built, GRP enclosure or simllar to acommodate the new HV metered feeder.
We will from the connection point provide all necessary HV cabling and LV cabling, HV switchgear, Distribution Transformers, LV switchgear, power factor correction equipment and all other necessary plant and equipment to complete the installation including installation of a suitable earth matrix.
We will also install all necessary interconnecting circuits including any auxilliary or trip cables back to the new metered point in accordance with the DNO or other LIoyds registered company requirements.
E.P.E.S. will also carry out all necessary builders and civils work for the client including any bases, pallisade fencing, bund walls or general substation construction works. We will also carry out any trenchwork/ducting required for accommodation of the DNO cables and the clients own distribution HV and LV cabling to the site.
On completion of works we will work with the appropriate authority to allow energisation to the new feeder/site and will carry out all final testing and commissioning works necessary including discrimination surveys to ensure all protection settings are set correctly for the future protection of the site.We will also install all necessary interconnecting circuits including any auxilliary or trip cables back to the new metered point in accordance with the DNO or other LIoyds registered company requirements.
Finally, all completion documents including operation and maintenance manuals and test certification will be issued to the customer giving peace of mind for the future that the site can operate effectively with the newly installed equipment at the right capacity. E.P.E.S. will also, where required, liaise with the client to find a suitable meter operator and tariff to ensure the client gets the best deal from their electricity provider for the future.
