E.P.E.S. Site Move Doubles Working Space

To accommodate all the growth over the last 20+ years in the business, E.P.E.S. has moved to a new location that has more than doubled the area of the factory space.

This move will help E.P.E.S. integrate with Bowers Electrical further to allow for a seamless harmony between the two businesses on a working level. This is allowing E.P.E.S. to enhance our services and enables us to expand our workforce to continue to support our customers at the highest level.

When Electrical Power Engineering Services (E.P.E.S.) Ltd was formed in 2001 as an associated company to Bowers Electricals Ltd, its goal was to provide Bowers Electricals with its own HV contracting division.

Straight away when founded, E.P.E.S very quickly established itself as a highly-skilled contracting company with its own customer base. We initially shared a working area with Bowers; however, this quickly became impractical in terms of space, and a specific location for E.P.E.S. to function was needed. We moved into a site just around the corner from Bowers in 2003. The site was just over 320m² in working space.

As the business continued to grow, an upgrade to help support this then was more than needed. Our new site now has over 720m² in factory space.

Our highly skilled engineering team are delighted with the upgrade, with the possibilities to expand being exponential.

Michael Bowers said on the move:

I see this as a tremendous opportunity in terms of delivering our current growth strategy. By relocating our HV contracting division E.P.E.S. into the new facility we can allow closer integration between the two businesses”.
